Black Raisin is essentially made by drying grapes and the processing of these Black Raisins is done by using an Australian method, which makes them fit for consumption. The processed raisins are prepared by using clean and dried grapes, which are stemmed or cap stemmed, and then sorted and cleaned in water so as to assure a wholesome product at the customer’s end. Black Raisin is composed of vital food elements like fruit acids, sugars and mineral salts. Thus, raisins are a good source of carbohydrates, folic acid, pantothenic acid and other significant nutrients. We offer Black Raisin in three sizes small, select and mixed. The small or midget size raisins means that 95 percent of all the raisins will pass through round perforations 9.5mm (24/64-inch) in diameter, and not less than 70 percent, by weight, of all raisins will pass through round perforations 8.7mm (22/64-inch) in diameter. The select size raisins means that no more than 60 percent, by weight, of all the raisins will pass through round perforations 8.7mm (22/64-inch) in diameter. The mixed size raisin means that the mixture does not meet the requirement of either the select or the small size.
